Finally graduated with recession

well have been waiting for this day since ages ..not that i flunked during MBA but the feeling of finally becoming an mba graduate .
convocation was in renaissance hotel and the entire evening was mesmerizing. met all old friends , though we were expecting more people to join in but unfortunately due to recession it didnt work out :( . When i talk to my old Techie frds i feel jealous n envious of them . they seem so oblivious of the world recession and here i am even with an MBA degree the danger of recession is hitting right in the face . reason ppl go for higher degrees is better life and package . but unfortunately in recession there doesnt seem to be either of them .
was reading some news article about IT companies and their CRR . seems that even with no prjs they have 1-2 yrs of the same !!!!!!!!!!! viola are the top consulting companies listening !!may be instead of firing ppl they can learn a thing or two about saving cost from the IT champs .
Thing which amazes me is even with low biling rates n high manpower compared to the consulting agencies how r these IT firms able to sustain .
not that consultants get too much salary , and for the amenities i think they are on par with IT firms . then what is it which is making these IT firms recession proof and hitting the others .
